As Vice President of Business Operations, Susan manages day-to-day corporate operations and coordinates administrative support for the company and its officers.

 

Prior to coming to American Strategies, Susan had many years of experience at Nationwide Insurance in the Government Relations Department as both the Civic Action Program Secretary and as the Political Action Committee Coordinator. In these positions, she was on the leading edge of corporate grassroots management and instrumental in increasing the state PAC programs for Nationwide Insurance.

 

While taking time away from the corporate world to raise her children, Susan was elected to Hilliard City Council in 2001. As a council member, Susan was a member of the Safety and the Service Committees of Council and was Chair of the Economic Development Committee. During her tenure, the city of Hilliard was able to turn the economic tides and begin to see development opportunities come back to the city. She was honored to represent the fine citizens of Hilliard.

 

As a daughter of a Air Force veteran and wife of an Ohio National Guard Officer, Susan has a deep understanding of Duty, Honor, and Country. She believes in bringing leaders of character back into power allowing America to be a strong democracy. These are values Susan and her husband have worked to instill in their three children and she enjoys fulfilling through her involvement with American Strategies.
